The development of Camelina sativa as an alternative research object for synthetic biology and crop improvement allows efficient transfer of knowledge from Arabidopsis into crops but also offers alternative for breeding new traits.

Several ressources are therefore available :
- Goldenbraid library of parts for gene expression, protein fusion and multi-CRISPR constructs
- Efficient transformation pipeline with a dedicated vacuum chamber for plant infiltration

- Oil pressing devices with a minipress (Kg of seeds) and micropress (g of seeds).
- Collection of camelina natural accessions and recombinant lines for breeding
- Collection of camelina physiological sensors developped through collaborative research that could be used for genetic screens as well as the development of environmental sensors (Querard et al. 2017).
