BSB 5 research teams The BSB department focuses on plant biomolecules (structure, diversity, biosynthetic pathways and their regulation) with a dual objective: (1) to understand their role in plant and seed physiology and development, and (2) to optimize their production, properties and agro-industrial use.

Developmental Biology, Signalling and Modelling

DSM 10 research teams DSM's research activities aim to improve understanding of plant development at different scales. Ultimately, this research should enable the development of innovative strategies to engineer plants for agriculture, the agri-food industry and non-food applications.

Genome Biology

GENOMES 7 research teams The 'Genome Biology' department explores the fundamental mechanisms of maintaining stability, expression, and diversity of plant genomes and epigenomes.

Physiology and Interactions

PHI 6 research teams PHI researchers aim to gain a better understanding of plant physiology in interaction with their biotic and abiotic environment, in order to identify genetic and agronomic levers for crops that are more robust in the face of climate change.
