I am a research engineer specialising in plant nitrogen metabolism.
Following the completion of a PhD focused on plasma membranes and transport proteins, I joined the IJPB in 2009, where my research addresses nitrogen remobilisation and seed filling.
I am particularly interested in optimising seed filling by investigating key mechanisms involved in this process, such as autophagy, and by targeting specific classes of proteins, particularly transporters.
To this end, in the SATURNE team, I develop and carry out experimental approaches including reverse genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and physiology.
In addition, I am responsible for the operation of an elemental analyser coupled to an isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS). In this capacity, I perfom carbon, nitrogen and 15N analyses for my own projects, as well as for IJPB members and external collaborators. I support them in experimental design and data interpretation.
