Come to experiment at the 2021 Science Festival: "What is this plant sick with?" - Orsay campus - University Paris-Saclay

Starting with a leaf showing symptoms of disease, participants will look at the various clues available to them to identify the cause of the disease:
Is it a virus, a bacterium, a microscopic fungus, or did they simply forget to water the plant!?

Activities will include: observation of symptoms with a magnifying glass with the possibility of examining leaves after different stains. You will be able to compare them with reference photos and read the results of analyses to look for genetic material in a leaf sample, etc...
