Best Wishes to Christian Jeudy!
Christian Jeudy, Assistant Engineer from the "Plant Observatory - Plant Culture" PO-Plants team, has recently retired, marking the end of a well-deserved career.
Christian played a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the experimental plant facilities at the IJPB, which are essential for the unit's plant research. Since his arrival at the « Plant Genetics and Improvement Station » (SGAP) in 1999, one of the founding units of the IJPB, he has demonstrated a great deal of expertise, and inventiveness until his departure at the end of June 2024. His skills were vast and widely recognized by everyone. He was able to intervene at all levels for the maintenance of the greenhouses and even beyond, solving encountered problems with great patience, to the point that the team nicknamed him: "our Swiss Army knife"! He worked closely with the past and present members of the IJPB "Maintenance" SC-Maint team.
Christian was an endearing personality full of humor; his convivial spirit was appreciated, and his joy of life was contagious. For example, he maintained good relations with the team retirees by organizing several excellent meals a year for them. We wish him a good and happy retirement and hope to see him occasionally at the "retirees" meals!
