IJPB at the Agri-Food & Bioeconomy networking event of the Université Paris-Saclay Innovation Cluster Alliance

The Université Paris-Saclay Innovation Cluster Alliance is organising a day dedicated to agri-food and the bioeconomy innovation, bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs and industry representatives to foster synergies, stimulate new public-private partnerships, and showcase the technologies and expertise developed across the region. The event will focus on five key themes:
1- Sustainable Food and the Microbiome
2- Sustainable Crop Production Systems
3- Sustainable Livestock Farming and Animal Health
4- Sustainable Agricultural and Environmental Systems
5- Bioeconomy
Strong IJPB Participation
The IJPB will be strongly represented at the event, with four exhibition stands and five B2B meetings highlighting the diversity of its research and innovation activities.
Cluster 2 – Sustainable Crop Production Systems
IJPB Stand
Three major areas of research and innovation will be presented:
1- Development of new genomic techniques: from laboratory to field
2- Solutions for Agroecology:
> Service crops and the PARSADA METASERV project
> Development of biosolutions through the SeedBioPep pre-maturation project, as well as the MAMBO and SUPRASEED projects within the Grand Challenge on Biocontrol and Biostimulation for Agroecology
3- Advanced Modelling and Imaging for Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Agriculture
Plant Observatory Stand
Presentation of the resources, expertise and services offered by the Plant Observatory to support plant research and innovation.
Cluster 4 – Sustainable Agricultural and Environmental Systems
IJPB will present several innovation projects:
> AmFert: improving nitrogen fertilisation within a sustainable development framework.
> DIALOG and Camehameha: co-design approaches for the diversification of agricultural systems and plant breeding.
Cluster 5 – Bioeconomy
Bioproduction innovation at the IJPB will be showcased through two projects:
> ROSALIND (PEPR B-BEST): transforming lignin through innovative green chemistry.
> VYVALAVIDA (SPS'Junior Innov'): enhancing viral antigen expression for next-generation vaccines.
