The IJPB at the 14th edition of Esprit Jardin

On the 14th and 15th of May 2022, come and take part in the workshop “Colourful plants!”
Esprit Jardin was launched 14 years ago and brings together more than 20,000 people, who love plants and gardens. This major event is an opportunity to make young and older people aware of science in a context where they do not expect it. The public will discover a different facet of plants, awaken their curiosity and get answers.

After the success of its first participation on the occasion of its 10th anniversary in 2021 (news), the IJPB renews the experience this year with a new workshop on the chemistry of colors in plants, almost infinite colors!

You will get to know the plants studied at the IJPB and the different ways of growing the "green mouse" of the plant research laboratories: the lady's cress, a plant of the Brassicaceae family (ex Cruciferae), a small cousin of cabbage, radish, rapeseed, pope's coin.

Meet us on the 14th and 15th of May from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Place de la cathédrale Saint-Louis in Versailles, along the rue Saint-Honoré. To find us, see the map on the program.
