The start-up Seed in tech, one of the three winners of the first edition of the InnoTech challenge
It receives co-financing for expertise and resources from IJPB.
This funding aims to overcome scientific or technical barriers. The InnoTech challenge is led by INRAE in partnership with AgroParisTech, the Agro Institute Montpellier, and with the support of the AgriO consortium. For this first edition, out of the 41 candidate companies, 20 projects have been awarded the InnoTech label. Out of these, three projects, including Seed in tech, have been granted funding. This €35,000 financing is intended to overcome scientific or technical barriers.
Seed in tech is developing a bio-inspired and bio-sourced stimulation technology to optimize seed germination batches.
The project led by Loïc Rajjou (co-founder of Seed in tech) from the "Germination Physiology" team (PHYGERM), from which Seed in tech originated, was the winner of the VEGEPOLYS VALLEY 2020-2021 Competition, as reported in IJPB news on 17/12/20.
