INRAE 2025 open competition: A research scientist in biophysical modeling at the IJPB
The Institute Jean-Pierre Bourgin for Plant Sciences (INRAE Versailles campus of the INRAE IdF -Versailles-Saclay Centre), offers a permanent position for a researcher in integrative biophysical modelling within the "Modelling and Digital Imaging" MiN team. This opportunity is of interest for young researchers with solid skills in computational modelling of biophysical/biomechanical processes, with an initial background in (bio)physics or other fields (applied mathematics, computer science, computational biology).
The recruited fellow will develop a research project aimed at gaining a better understanding of the coupling mechanisms at interfaces between different organization levels during plant development and morphogenesis (from the coupling between chromosomes and cytoskeleton to higher scale levels), through a modelling approach based on imaging data.
Our strengths?
We are an inter-disciplinary team committed to scientific subjects aligned with societal issues, benefiting from state-of-the-art equipment and international partnerships. We take care of the personal/professional life balance of team members. Our green working environment is particularly pleasant, just a few minutes from Paris.
To apply, visit the INRAE Jobs website. Registration deadline: March 4, 2025.
