Professor of Plant Physiology at AgroParisTech and DIPOL Group leader at IJPB
Jean-Denis Faure is Professor of Plant Physiology and the head of the Life and Health Science department at AgroParisTech, the main French agronomical engineering school.
He manages a research group in the Institut National de Recherche Agronomique (INRAE) in Versailles. His research mainly focused on plant lipids, their role in plant biology as well as their potential use for food and health. His group is developping camelina as a new crop to fulfill the agroecological transition and face climate change but also as a translational tool to carry out synthetic biology approaches like metabolic engineering.
