Oral presentations by PhD students from the 2024 cohort

First year PhD students talks

These events are very fruitful, enabling enriching and constructive discussions between first-year PhD students, their referee and all the scientists and students at the IJPB. They also take part to the preparation of the PhD students for their future thesis defense.

Here are the 11 thesis topics covering a wide range of themes presented in 2 sessions:

> Caracterisation of TRM proteins during the early development of gynoecium in Arabidopsis thaliana and Capsella rubella
Loris Caillat-Miousse, "Spatial Control of Cell Division" SPACE team, Direction: Magalie Uyttewaal

> Role of sugar transporters in root development and rhizodeposition
Zhongting Deng, "Carbon, Allocation, Transport and Signaling" CATS team, Direction: Sylvie Dinant

> Cell cycle and cytoskeleton crosstalks for mitotic entry
Rith Théa Hak, "Spatial Control of Cell Division" SPACE team, Direction: David Bouchez & Martine Pastuglia

> Adressing the role of horizontal gene transfert in plant-insect interaction
